Dino Boys

Jude is a very nurturing boy. Most of his imaginative play involves kids and parents; he loves to tuck in stuffed animals and then order us all to be quiet while they sleep. He is very sensitive to discouragement and quick to offer kind words.

A game of hide-and-seek recently showed me the other side of Jude. I found Sam and Jude hiding under some blankets and they came out growling their scariest growls. "We're dinosaurs!" they yelled.

Jude: "I'm a velociraptor!"
Sam: "Me too!"
Jude, still growling: "Yeah. Our babies are missing. They're in a sandcastle. WE ATE THEM!"
