New Home in Numbers
13: Nights spent all together in our new house.
20: Inches of snow that have fallen on our yard.
233: Number of laundry chute deposits Samuel and Jude have made.
50: Percentage of those deposits that were actually dirty laundry. “I’m going to pretend this is dirty laundry, Mama!”
2, 5: Number of people in our family when we moved to our first and second homes, respectively.
52, 72: Composite age, in years, of all family members when we moved into our first and second homes, respectively.
82,887: Population of Manitowoc County.
915,097: Population of Milwaukee County.
5: Times I’ve consulted a map to run an errand.
5: Times I've gotten a little (or a lot) lost.
3: Visits to the doctor.
400: Kleenex used.
12: Mama & Daddy Emergency Response Team (MDERT) baths given, due to illness and mischief.
7: Toys discarded after Daddy found Samuel and Jude “shooting baskets” in the toilet.
11: Mirrors in the house on move-in day.
8: Mirrors available to a good home.
3: Children who REALLY like to look at themselves.
1,000,000: Times I have been glad to be with all four of my boys every day.
